Our Transfers on a Guest Book in a Photoshoot for Martha Stewart’s Wedding’s Magazine 2015

We custom made a dry transfer for Martha Stewart's Weddings magazine. Picture of a wedding guest book with a gold foil rubdown transfer. Our custom transfers were used recently in Martha Stewart Weddings, 2015 Winter Edition’s magazine photoshoot. We provided the foil transfers for their Wedding Guest Book in Crown Roll Leaf Gold Foil (shade #414) of their artwork, which they applied to the cover of the guest book for “Tiler and Robbie’s wedding“.

While we had nothing to do with inside of the book, we just wanted to show what the inside and outside of the guest book looked like. This is another good example of where our rub-down foil transfers can be used for the finishing touches on book covers, movie and photo props and prototypes of any kind.

Other dry transfers were made for similar book cover project a couple of years ago. We made these gold foil transfers to be used on a book cover for Lisa Kay, Creative Director at LAST EXIT, who used our custom rub down transfers to create this beautiful comp.

Image Transfers are custom dry rub-on transfer specialists. We make only one thing: custom rub down transfers for graphic designers, artists, and model-makers. A dry transfer (or rubdown) is an image printed on a translucent sheet. The image has a coating of adhesive on its back. The image is transferred from the translucent sheet onto another surface by applying light pressure in a rubbing motion. The dry transfer can be applied to any surface that is free of dust, grease or oil. Dry transfers are referred to as DRY because they are applied dry, without the use of water or solvents. A dry transfer is not a slip-off label or a water decal, instead, the transferred image appears as if it was printed directly onto the item. Our dry transfers are opaque because we back the colors with white, so our rubdowns can be applied to a surface of any color without changing the color of the rub-on transfer. We consider dry transfers a semi-permanent application. A top coat of clear lacquer can make them more permanent. Our production artists can match all Pantone Matching System (PMS) colors including Metallic. Standard transfers are semi-gloss but we also offer matte and uncoated finishes. We deliver within as little as 24 hours. -- Specialties: Custom Rub Down Dry Transfers, Art Gallery Signage & Museum Labels, Custom Transfers for Product Prototypes, Comps & Mock-ups, Dry Transfers for Scale Models. Decals for Glass and reversed transfer decals for inside glass cases.

im looking for transfers to put on champagne glasses for wedding…could you help?

    • Hi Lisa. You certainly can use these on champagne glasses. Please note, our transfers will work well when applied to glass, but they will not withstand being washed. If you want to simulate an etched glass look for use during something like a wedding dinner and toast, we recommend matte with a 10% tint of white. However, you can order any color you like. Please feel free to submit an order through the site. If you need any help in preparation of your artwork, let us know.

I am looking for a set of table markers for a wedding. They will go on to wooden hearts and have the name of the bride and groom plus table number. Table number could be done with a standard transfer sheet?

We can certainly work on this project with you. We can offer Pantone Graphic color, metallics and even FOILS. If you review our portfolio page you will see that Lawton Audio uses metallic gold and silver transfers of their logo to complete their wooden headphones. Best way, and most economical, would be to set up all your information on one of our size areas since that is how our pricing is determined. If you need help with this, we can help too. Pricing is published on the website and turnaround is 24 to 48 hours. Application is quite easy and we even supply a burnisher. Just email us at art@imagetransfers.com if you have more questions or issues. We look forward to working with you.
